Who Are Cheltenham Lacrosse?
Cheltenham Lacrosse Club are committed to playing and growing the sport of Lacrosse with anyone who wants to be involved.
We have teams that play men and women’s lacrosse, and have regular training sessions and social events.

Main Season: September to April, Mondays & Thursdays, 7.30-9
Summer Season: May to August, Mondays 7.30-9

Cheltenham was founded in 2007 by a group of Lacrosse enthusiasts in the area with help from “Happy” John Harrop. Cheltenham became a haven for university graduate in Cheltenham, and fondly called themselves “the Cougars” (hence the logo)cougars
After a brief hiatus from 2014, the club returned to form in 2016, under the leadership of David Lennox, this time with a women’s team added to the mix, who instantly made thier mark on the game.

Cheltenham Lacrosse is one club, with teams available for men and women’s competitions as well as for volunteers who want to see the club and the sport flourish. Get to know our teams:
Our men’s team compete across the South of England in the SEMLA leagues.
Our women’s team compete in the SWWL league format, against other teams in the South West of England.
